eCommerce   Print  E-mail

We develop and maintain eCommerce based websites which incorporate secure transaction handling.

Our solution is called eRetail Therapy.  It was developed to enable retailers to overcome the constraints that they had encountered in other "shopping carts".  They had become savvy in what really matters in eCommerce the hard way.

They explained the importance of the little things that would make them money by enhancing operational efficiency. They told us and we listened.

They wanted attention to details like seamless integration with EPOS systems. They wanted integrated invoice and despatch label printing.

Their customers also appreciate attention to details. Factors like their address details being remembered. Like postage charge calculations being clear. Like being able to view both sides of products in detail.

We were all surprised that getting these points addressed was not a matter of price. Several big name, big price ticket solutions also had failings.

Out of this retail proving ground was born eRetail Therapy,  productive eCommerce with the features that count.  Lets consider just a few of them.

Customer Perspective

At followME Technologies Ltd we do not like to put obstacles between your customers the things they want to buy and their means of doing that.

eRetail Therapy provides alternative means to get to products beyond the basic navigation bar provided by the websites template design.

For instance visitors are presented with what is new immediately on the homepage, saving them time and getting your new stock moving.

As well as being able to shop by product category, they are able to shop by brand.

Also they can keep track of what they've viewed so far, so to make the buying impulse as easy as possible. They can also email links to these items to their friends and family.

Merchant Perspective

As the operator of an eCommerce site your time is your money and cost of ownership is a crucial factor. Fortunately ease of use is built-in with eRetail Therapy thus enhancing staff efficiency.

The site is maintained through a secure web page and the loading and maintaining of stock is intuitive.

The various product views are shown to the site administrator and descriptions and pricing are controllable just a click away.

There is no need to understand HTML, the special language which defines websites, as the built-in editor is what-you-see-is-what-you-get, e.g. colourising text is easy.

Manipulation of a matrix of product options can be done in a trice thanks to a special editor for this.

The data about the products for sale can be taken from many different formats including various databases, spreadsheets and text files. So if you already use some kind of computerised stock control system, there is no need for you to duplicate your efforts.

We can also help you with your order processing systems to ensure that all your mail orders are handled as quickly and efficiently as possible with the minimum of effort and no mistakes. This ensures that everything runs smoothly for you, and you have satisfied customers who will order from you again.

eRetail Therapy is backed up by excellent technical support including online help page assistance.

Many of types of sales and site traffic are available so that you've always got your finger on the pulse of your online retail operation.

For an example of one of our websites, have a look at: Jabba-wocky Clothing. Jabba-wocky Clothing in Bournemouth had a web presence for a long time before venturing into trading on-line. Through working with followME Technologies, they were able to start trading on-line in a very short period of time, and with no disruption to the running of the high street store. As well as providing the website, followME Technologies also helped Jabba-wocky Clothing to promote their website in the most cost effective way to ensure that it received a large number of quality visitors quickly. As a result, within 6 weeks of opening the on-line store, Jabba-wocky Clothing saw a 10% increase in overall revenue directly from the website, and this is increasing every week.
